Arctic autumn week

It’s already our fourth summer in the Arctic wilderness. We came here scared and curious about what it’s like to be in Europe’s last wilderness, that’s what they call Sarek. The nearest shop is 120 km away and this is not a place people reach by accident. We opened a small accommodation, where people can rest, share feelings, or exchange crucial safety information. We’ve met a lot of interesting people, sharing their strengths and worries.
But we believe the wilderness isn’t just for hardcore endurance folks. So we’re checking if there’s interest in weeklong recreation camps here in Kvikkjokk, where we can organize as a group without a particular agenda and enjoy the outdoors without pushing limits.

The offer:
Dates:
• 21–27 September

Basecamp accommodation in Kvikkjokk.
Activities: self-managed day trips, overnight trips (Snjerjak, Nammasj, Prinskullen, Nunjes), canoeing the Tarra delta, walking dogs, hanging out at camp, board games, and whatever else we come up with.
Meals: groceries will be sourced collectively, cooking is a shared effort. The same goes for dishwashing and keeping the place tidy.
Costs: 550 EUR. For couples (sharing a big double bed): 950 EUR for both.
Includes: food, accommodation, and borrowing outdoor gear.
Doesn’t include: getting to and from Kvikkjokk.
