atdata: Distributed datasets over atproto

Fragmentation is an endemic problem for scientific data, and it hinders our collective ability to both work with traditional methodologies, and to realize outside of the big labs the potential of AI-driven methods for science.

In this talk, we'll see how atproto enables a step-change for the use of large-scale, distributed, open, interoperable scientific datasets.
