A walk through what it actually took to add native support for jj change-id headers to Gerrit Code Review: the architectural considerations a modern Git-based SCM faces when adopting jj, and how to ensure jj and Git users can collaborate seamlessly without stepping on each other's toes. Gerrit makes for a great testing ground since it already embraces the patch-set workflow that jj naturally enables — even so, bridging the two systems threw up some interesting design challenges.
