Cultivating Belonging Through Connection with the Land and Our Ancestry

October 31st–November 1st marks Samhain, a Celtic holiday honoring the ancestors. The month of October is a time to connect with our ancestry ~ the gifts, beauty, and histories that have been passed down through our lineages.

Each of our ancestral lineages carries a complicated history. Some of it is beautiful, some incredibly painful. Yet what each lineage shares is that somewhere down the line, all of our ancestors were intimately connected with the land.

In this ritual workshop, we will explore this connection through land-based practices, using it as a root point for cultivating a deeper sense of belonging. Belonging to the earth, belonging to our lineages, belonging to humankind, belonging to life.

Together, we will honor the ancestors ~ our own lineages, those of each other, and the original stewards of these lands. We will also explore a little of the Celtic traditions of Samhain, weaving ancestral remembrance with our connection to the living earth.

The morning land connection session that will be led by Saoirse Watters, you can find more about her here: https://saoirsewatters.com/
