About
MEN’S CIRCLE
True Accountability
True accountability is ownership.
It's the willingness to look honestly at your life and ask:
"Where am I not doing what I know I can/need to do?"
We are often taught to be accountable to others , to follow through on our commitments, meet the expectations set out for us, and show up reliably. But what about when it comes to keeping promises to ourselves?
How often you’ve broken the promises you’ve made to yourself? From skipping that morning walk or staying up too late when you said you wouldn’t, to letting your boundaries blur or postponing something that matters to you.
There's far less focus on learning how to be accountable to ourselves. The promises we make to ourselves somehow feel less urgent, less important, and easier to push aside and break. But each time we break a promise to ourselves, we let ourselves down and our self-trust begins to erode.
Over time, a gap forms between what we say and what we do.
Between who we know ourselves to be and how we're actually showing up.
That gap has consequences.
Trust erodes.
Confidence weakens.
Resentment builds.
Not only in our relationships with others, but in our relationship with ourselves.
Because every broken promise sends a message.
And eventually, we stop believing our own word.
The cost?
• Repeating patterns you said you were done with
• Avoiding conversations, decisions, or responsibilities that matter
• Blaming circumstances or other people
• Feeling stuck, frustrated, or disconnected from your own power
• Carrying the weight of unfinished business
This circle is an invitation into honest self-inquiry in a safe space.
We'll explore:
• The gap between what you say and what you do
• Where you are out of integrity with yourself or others
• The promises you've repeatedly broken, and why
• What avoidance is costing you
• What standards you want to hold yourself to
• Where you are already showing up the way you want
• What becomes possible when your actions align with your words and values
This isn't about perfection.
It's about becoming someone who can trust himself.
Someone whose word means something.
Someone who takes ownership of his life, not because he has to, but because he chooses to.
_ We'll explore the topic through meditation, embodiment, sharing and reflection. _
Come as you are.
No fixing.
No performing.
Just men willing to look honestly at what they're creating, avoiding, and becoming. Men practicing truth, connection, and presence.
