About
Looking for a new meal that’s delicious and easier to make than it looks? Join us at Growing Chef’s Headquarters just in time for the return of Harvest Bucks, as we make a tasty, colourful, one-pan dish of classic shakshouka. Participants will work together to prepare a hearty tomato and pepper sauce using fresh ingredients and warm spices. Along the way, you'll practice knife skills, cooking techniques, and crack eggs directly into the sauce to create this classic dish. Once everything is ready, we will enjoy our shakshouka together, served with warm pita bread.
Harvest Bucks have officially returned! Just for attending, learning new skills, and participating, you’ll receive $20 in Harvest Bucks vouchers to spend on fresh, local food in the community. Whether you're new to cooking or love trying new foods, bring your appetite and your teamwork for a fun night of kitchen skill-building!

Why do we use them? The goal of the Harvest Bucks program is to increase access to and consumption of fresh, nutritious foods, while building comfort and familiarity with local farmers' markets and small grocers.
