Wasteland to Wellspring Community Camp

Join us as we take time out of time to come together to listen to our hearts, to one another, to the land and to our collective knowing.

You are warmly invited to this community land gathering for cultivating heart and hope in troubled times.

We are living in what some are calling the “polycrisis”, a deeply troubling time of climate chaos, mass extinction, war, genocide, dissolution of democracy, othering, violence and domination, and more.

With compassion, tenderness and creativity we will honour and tend to our pain, rage, anger, grief and despair, as well as our gratitude, hope, joy, love and yearning. And with clarity and vision, we will open the field of the emerging future, seeking alignment with our highest potential as humans on this planet.

Inspired by the myth of The Fisher King we will ask our own and each other’s hearts What Ails Thee? and invite the powers of compassion and presence to help transform our pain and woundedness into beauty and courage.

In the second half of our journey, we will invoke the untold story of The Fisher Queen. As we move from the pain and the problem towards a response arising from power and purpose, we will pose the question: What do you want to see in the world?

Together we will hold the vision of co-creating a more beautiful world and invite a collaborative, communal response to the challenges of our times.

Our shared journey will unfold through:

• Paired, small group and whole group activities
• Way of Council sharing circles
• Time on the land
• A Truth Mandala witnessing circle.
• Practices which foster hope and vision, and which build energy, courage and clarity
• Stillness, silence and laughter
• Storytelling, poetry and song
• Dance, drumming and ceremony
• Campfires and star-gazing

​This is an alcohol and drug free event for just 12 people, guided by a small team of skilled and experienced facilitators.

The Gifting Approach - Pay What You Can

All our events are offered on a gift basis, which means there’s no financial barrier to participation. This is a bit different to simply inviting donations. We’re asking you to feel into a contribution that is right for you.

As well as taking into consideration what you can afford, we will also ask you to bear in mind how much you would pay elsewhere for something similar - probably between £200 and £550 for this three-day retreat. It is also fine for you to gift less or more than this. We will send you guidelines to help you decide the total amount of your gift for the retreat.

We are asking for a placeholder deposit of £70 when you book, but please let us know if this is a problem for you.

In addition, we'll be inviting financial gifts during the weekend (by cash and card). You are also welcome to pay by instalments before or after the event. Please email us if you would like to organise a payment plan before the event.

We are trying our best to strike a balance between being accessible, trusting in the spirit of the gift, and being financially viable and we invite you to join us in this experiment.
