About
An emergent, work-in-progress, devised show, blending elements of autobiographical storytelling and physical theatre, performed by 6 local women.
Fundraiser for Stories for Change.
What gifts can be found in our personal and collective Underworld?
Can we allow the falling apart both individually and collectively to make space for our new, more integrated way of being?
We are inspired by the archetype of Descent and the story of Inanna. We tell our individual stories reflected in that myth. Exploring the journey from distorted Yang energy- the drivenness and rigidity that has us all exhausted - to softening and crumbling of Yin, our fears, challenges and gifts of it. Longing for a more integrated view where above and below; the light and the dark support and complement each other.
Our work is theatre as a healing ritual, that is artistically crafted, digestible and includes humour.
There will be time after the show to ask questions, share and digest.
Doors open 7pm for 7:30 start.
