About

Spirit Groove Drums – Spring Drumming Journey

Step into an evening of rhythm, connection, and renewal as we gather for a deeply immersive drumming experience. Held in three flowing parts, this journey invites you to slow down, awaken your senses, and move with the natural rhythm of the season — no experience needed.

Part One: Drumming Meditation
We begin gently, creating space to arrive and unwind. You’ll be invited to lie down, get comfortable, and be guided into a drumming meditation. The steady, grounding beat of the drum weaves through the space, offering a chance to switch off the mind and simply receive.
For some, this opens the door to colours, imagery, or a sense of journeying; for others, it’s a moment of deep rest and stillness. However it unfolds for you is perfect. Feel free to bring a yoga mat, cushions, or blankets — or use those provided.

Part Two: Group Drumming Circle
As the evening unfolds, the energy begins to build. Together, we move into a lively and expressive group drumming circle. With a range of drums and percussion, we co-create rhythm in the moment — playful, intuitive, and full of life.
Each gathering carries its own unique feel, often reflecting a sense of freshness, movement, and uplift as we step into a new season together.

Part Three: Mother Powwow Drum Experience
We close the circle gathered around the Mother Powwow drum — a powerful shared experience. This large, resonant drum is played together in unison, creating a deep, steady heartbeat that can be felt throughout the body.
It’s a moment of grounding, unity, and connection — often described as the most moving part of the evening.
