Sourdough for beginners

Welcome to the Beginners sourdough bread workshop! Join us at the Moor Imagination Centre for a hands-on experience in the art of sourdough bread making. In this workshop, you will learn the basics of creating your own sourdough starter, developing gluten in your dough and baking in a domestic oven. We will bake a pre-prepared dough, mix your own starter and make a dough to take home and bake. I have had many years experience working as a chef on private yachts in my twenties to the Schumacher college kitchen and more recently Lunas bakehouse in Dartington. Making bread is a fascinating and ever evolving journey and there is always something to learn. I am excited to deliver a regular, affordable and digestable course that will be fun and informative.
