About

You are warmly invited to join us to explore trauma-informed community practices for witnessing, holding and transforming the pain of grief.

What To Expect

We will gently travel through each stage of the Grief Tending journey through small group work, circle sharing, and a simple, inclusive ceremony followed by feasting, soothing and integration.

The session will include an introduction to the broad spectrum of loss, inspired by the 'gates of grief' map offered by Francis Weller, which includes collective grief (ecological, generational etc.) as well as personal losses such as bereavement and life transitions.

In community Grief Tending, we discover that we are no longer alone, and together we can hold our grief without being overwhelmed. All activities are invitational.

Who Is It For?

This workshop is for anyone struggling with grief, and looking for more hope, healing and peace. Together we create a safe place to embrace and honour our grief with people who understand.

Bookings will close at 12pm on Thursday 23rd April.

The Gifting Approach - Pay What You Can

All our events are offered on a gift basis, which means there’s no financial barrier to participation. This is a bit different to simply inviting donations. We’re asking you to feel into a contribution that feels right for you.

When you register, you'll need to pay a ‘placeholder deposit’ of £20, which is a token of commitment to reserve your place (if this is a problem for you please be in touch). We will then invite a further financial gift after the workshop and will send you further guidance about this.

One of the factors we ask you to take into account is how much you might pay elsewhere for something similar. For this event, this is likely in the region of £40-£110, so please bear this in mind. Your placeholder deposit is, in principle, refundable at the workshop, in full or in part, if your chosen gift is less.

Your gift will ensure that we can continue offering sessions to everyone who needs them, regardless of their financial circumstances.
