PSYSOC COMMUNITY WALKS

Walking, Nature Connection, Meditation and Community with The Psychedelic Society

**🌿 Get connected in Nature - Community Walk HASTINGS – Connect, Ground & Restore 🌿 **

Join us for a nourishing community walk in the beautiful Costal Path.

An opportunity to slow down, connect deeply with nature, and share space with like-minded souls in a relaxed and welcoming setting.

WHAT TO EXPECT

A gentle, mindful walk along the scenic coastal path with panoramic sea views, orange sandstone cliffs and shingle shores, offering the perfect chance to reconnect, with yourself, with others, and with the sea air.

Along the way, we’ll pause for a small **guided meditation and some nature connection activities ** to connect with our environment, giving us time to reflect, share, and simply be. In a world that moves fast, spending time in nature is the medicine we often need, to ground, recharge, and gain clarity.

Walking together creates a space for conscious connection, where conversations flow naturally, and we can support and inspire each other. Come as you are: solo, with friends, or to meet new ones. This is a space for everyone, whether you're looking for movement, meaningful connection, or simply a breath of fresh air.

Please wear sensible foot attire, it gets muddy depending on the weather and we wont be walking on paths the entire time. You are welcome to bring a flask of tea or something, but we will meet (and end) at the **Bathing Hut Cafe** so you can purchase something too.

LOCATION

📍 **Bathing Hut Cafe** Cinque Ports Way, St Leonards, Hastings, Saint Leonards-on-sea TN38 0FD

YOUR GUIDE

Freesia Bassett

With a background in community arts, youth work and festival production, Freesia likes to bring people together in imaginative and authentic ways, especially those often overlooked or excluded from mainstream spaces.

She curates The Psychedelic Society’s gatherings in Hastings, celebrating the town’s creative spirit while opening new conversations about consciousness and community. Freesia also leads SisterWood, a nature-based programme for girls, and explores consciousness through Reiki and sound practice, weaving together art, nature and embodied awareness.

Psychedelics have been among her greatest teachers, informing her inquiry into connection with nature and self, and how we might honour the lineages that hold these understandings. She is studying for an MSc in Mind, Medicine & Culture: Psychedelics at the University of Exeter, examining how altered states of consciousness shape creativity, connection and collective understanding. She’s passionate about collaboration, open dialogue and shared learning.
