Fusing the Solar Punk ethos of organic community-driven change with High Masquerade& Explorations of the Esoteric!
๐ด Your Assignment Upon securing your place at court you will be allocated a card from the Tarot deck. This is your identity for the night. You will receive a guide to the symbols and meanings associated with your card to help you prepare, should you wish.
Don't fretโฆ you don't have to act or pretend or improvise at this event, by coming dressed as the card, or just wearing the simple half mask we provide, and just being yourself you are doing all that is required. If you want to lean in then please do, but don't be nervous about your โroleโ, you are already everything you need to beโฆ alsoโฆ
Don't fretโฆ if it seems like you have a โnegativeโ card, the card is not a diagnosis or judgement of you personally, it's a theatrical role you are to play at Court by simply being there and doing whatever you do or say, job done!
๐ญ The Costume We strongly invite you to arrive in a costume that reflects your assigned card. Whether you embody the airy intellect of a Sword or the emotional depth of a Cup, how you present yourself is your contribution to the ritual. The Court is a space of transformation; be foolish, be fun, be deep, be dark, be delightful, it is your playground to enjoy!
๐ฏ๏ธ Personal Readings (5:00 PM โ 7:00 PM) There's an option to begin your journey with a pre-booked 30-minute private session with our professional readers. You can choose your reader and time when buying a ticket.
Our Readersโฆ
๐ญ Mask Making (5:00 PM โ 8:30 PM) Join our mask-making arts table to finalise your theatrical alter-ego for the ritual and masquerade ball. We'll have blank masks and art materials on hand, or bring your own trinkets, foliage, magazines or more (no glitter allowed folx ๐)
๐ฃ๏ธ The Roundtable (7:00 PM โ 8:00 PM) Join a live discussion exploring The Tarot as a Tool for Social Change. We move from the personal to the political, asking how these ancient symbols can guide us toward a more connected future.
๐ญ The Performance & The Ritual (8:30 PM) As silence falls over the Court, we shall witness the physicalisation of the first five Major Arcana โ A PageantPlayPanto for giggles and wiggles and secrets revealed, prepare to be active observers at the big gangbang at the start of the multiverse! (Like, really, it's mad)
โฅ๏ธโฃ๏ธ๐โ ๏ธโฆ๏ธ ๐ฟ๐๐ ๐ฎ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐ฎ๐๐๐๐ (9:00 PM) Following the performance, the room becomes the deck from which we shall draw. We will choose community questions through the oracle of _ The Tarota Wheel _ and conduct a Group Reading. Three cards will be drawn from the communal deck for each question โ if your assigned card is called, you will step forward to speak the truth of your card to the room, on the day whatever you have to say is what the card has to say, you don't need any knowledge beyond that which you choose to seek out. if any.
๐ The Masquerade (10:00 PM) The esoteric shifts to the euphoric where we'll learn simple and fun Baroque dances with _ **The Covent Garden Minuet Company** _, dressed in the finest of fettle and bringing their airs and graces to the court, the Minuetters will lead us in group dances where you can flirt with your fancies behind the flick of a fan, or flirt with the fates to find a new date!
๐คก Clowntown (10:45 โ Late) Once the Masquerade is done we'll transition into a night of weird, wonky, and wiggly tunes from _ **ZEE HAMMER** _, a Magus of excellently foolish fuckery on those other Decks ๐๐พ๐ง๐บ๐ผ it's now time to dance with abandon, have those 4am kitchen chats a bit earlier that usual, and get your own decks out to read for one another here, there, and everywhere!
During the performance and the Group Reading we will be operating the house under theatre rules, no phones, no chatter at the bar, no cheeky smokes in the yard, this is the show you've come to _ see _ , and this is the show you've come to _ be _.
Expect our Ushers to be Hushers too, you'll still be able to order a drink, but only by the Beverage Book, shhhhhh!
We believe that energy is the true currency and money is simply the conduit ๐ช
To ensure this space remains accessible, a space of agency and consent, we reject standard ticket pricing models.

Entry is ยฃ1. How much you contribute beyond that is your personal choice, based on:
Some of us can pay ยฃ30, ยฃ50, ยฃ100 quid at the moment without worrying, is that you? If so then give a bit when buying your ticket, 'how much?' you sayโฆ.what you'd normally pay for a night at the theatre, the cinema, the opera; it's your Best Pound! And then if the show is really amazingโฆ buy plenty of raffle tickets on the night to give homage to the artists that have created the spectacle for youโฆ and with you!
And tip at the bar too, there's more than just pulling a pint that goes into hosting a bar!
Some people haven't got a quid at the moment, no stress, grab a free ticket with Your Best Intent , please only book this free ticket when you are CERTAIN of your attendance, out of respect to the work and artists. As you probably know people often don't value that which they don't pay for. If you can manage a quid then spend that quid with the intention of it being the Best Pound you have to give, the one that represents the love and care you have for the community that is co-creating this event for you and with you, and dress up as best you can to create the best experience for all, effort and intention are energy just as much as money is, if not more!
This is our commitment to a better world. By holding this space for your "Best Pound," we prioritize community over capitalism. F*CK CAPITALISM. โ
