About

In this dynamic collaboration, Darren Le Baron and Oli Genn-Bash bring together two powerful mushroom paradigms: the deeply personal, culturally rooted approach to healing and the cutting-edge science of human optimisation.
Darren opens the mycelial portal with a grounded, introspective journey into a personal approach to healing with mushrooms—exploring intentionality, ancestral memory, ecological awareness, and the relational aspect of working with fungi. This isn’t about quick fixes. It’s about cultivating a dialogue with mushrooms. Healing becomes an act of listening, integration becomes ritual, and wellbeing becomes a lifelong practice.
Oli then accelerates the conversation into the realm of biohacking with mushrooms, unpacking how functional and medicinal fungi can enhance cognition, immunity, resilience, metabolic performance, and recovery. Drawing on modern research, protocols, and measurable outcomes, he bridges traditional wisdom with contemporary human optimisation strategies.
The session concludes with an up to date overview of the latest research on psilocybin mushrooms and micro-dosing, translating emerging scientific findings into clear, practical insights. Attendees will explore what current studies suggest about mood regulation, cognitive flexibility, neuroplasticity, and overall wellbeing, as well as the limitations, risks, and unanswered questions that still shape this rapidly evolving field.
Grounded in evidence rather than hype, this closing segment equips participants with a balanced understanding of how micro-dosing is being investigated today, offering an informed perspective on its potential role within both personal healing journeys and performance-focused protocols.
