Join us for a whole day of foraging for spring wild herbs. One foray in the morning and one after lunch. Enjoy a forager’s lunch back at base (both pre-made and cooked during the event) in a very special space surrounded by wonderful woodlands. We’ll enjoy pickles, wild kimchi, wild spiced dips and other condiments with our meal. Lunch time will be a valuable opportunity to ask any foraging or wild medicine related questions you might have. We’ll explore how to unlock nature’s edible secrets, habitats of many species, what to eat and what not to eat, folk law and foraging, fermented foods, and the wonderful medicinal and nutritional properties of plants and mushrooms. You’ll come away with loads of delicious ideas for making your own condiments and wild food dishes.
