About

_ “If you like history and you like nature, then this is the tour for you.” - Sally Guscott _

Welcome to Bristol: Green Capital of Britain, and one of the best cities on Earth. Explore the green heart of the city with this unique walking tour, which blends history, storytelling and nature connection like never before. See the city with fresh eyes, discover hidden natural treasures, and hear the stories that make Bristol a city like no other.

With James as your guide, you’ll journey through the heart of Bristol and see it with fresh eyes, visiting iconic sites and hidden gems. There’ll be nature-inspired art installations, a secret garden with over 10,000 tree species, mythical creatures, the World’s Biggest Party Gatecrash, fiery revolutions and battles for the soul of the city, alongside ancient trees, paradise parks and spectacular gardens.

As you explore the city, you’ll get up close and personal with some of Bristol’s natural wonders, including a surprising variety of wildlife, trees, herbs and plants. You’ll also practice some simple nature connection techniques to help you explore your senses, unplug from the stresses of modern life and gain the benefits of nature: improved mood, decreased anxiety, boosted immune system, and much more.

Whether you’re new to Bristol or have lived here for decades, this walking tour is perfect for discovering the best bits of this incredible city while connecting with nature at the same time. All ages and experience levels are welcome, although a minimum level of mobility is required for walking on uneven terrain and climbing lots of steps.
