About
Join us for a powerful, heart-opening drumming experience held in three distinct yet deeply connected parts. This is an invitation to rest, to play, and to connect through rhythm — no drumming experience needed.
Part One: Drumming Meditation
We begin by slowing everything down. Guests are invited to lie down, get comfortable, and settle into a guided drumming meditation. As the steady rhythm of the drum fills the space, you’re encouraged to simply receive — allowing the sound to carry your consciousness wherever it needs to go.
Some people experience vivid colours, visions, or journeys; others meet the spirit animal of the drum, or drop into a profound sense of calm and grounding. Every experience is unique, and all are welcome. You’re invited to bring your own yoga mat, cushions, or blankets if you wish — mats are also available.
Part Two: Group Drumming Circle
Next, the energy lifts as we move into group drumming. This is playful, immersive, and full of life. Using a variety of drums and percussion, we create a shared rhythm together — building momentum, connection, and joy.
No two circles are ever the same. The energy in the room is alive and responsive, shaped by the people present, and often described as electric, uplifting, and deeply connecting.
Part Three: Mother Powwow Drum Experience
We close by gathering around the large Mother Powwow drum — a truly special and powerful moment. This 1.4-metre-wide drum accommodates 8–10 players at a time, and is played with no other percussion. Just the deep, resonant heartbeat of the drum, shared together.
This part of the journey is profoundly grounding and meditative, and many people describe it as the most powerful part of the experience — a moment of unity, presence, and deep connection.
