Dr. Jack Hunter is an anthropologist exploring the borderlands of consciousness, religion, ecology and the paranormal.

In his talk DEEP WEIRD, Dr Jack Hunter will focus on high strangeness; those bizarre, inexplicable events, like modern fairy sightings, goblins, spirit entities and encounters with the little people and how these extraordinary experiences are often overlooked, or dumbed-down. With an academic mind and heart in folk lore Jack will take us on a journey into the realms of the Fae and the Underworld, and offers insights into how we can incorporate and make sense of this enchanted world.
