Dances for Universal Peace with Jackie Singer, Neesa Copple and Anna Thornhill

At the heart of the Dances of Universal Peace (DUP) is a longing for Unity. There are over 1000 dances written by hundreds of individuals, each of which is an embodied prayer from one of the world's spiritual traditions. As we sing these sacred phrases and dance simple steps together hand in hand, we honour the light in all beings and the truth beyond words at the heart of all religions. Great for people who find sitting still meditations challenging!

Neesa and Anna hold monthly DUP sessions in Stroud. They are joined for this event by Jackie Singer, a DUP leader from Oxford who brings some of her own songs and dances honouring the Divine Feminine. (See jackiesinger.co.uk)

All welcome - no prior experience needed and dances can be adapted to suit different physical abiliites. Children are welcome to join in or sit in the centre.
