About

Sacred Activist Collective: a space for justice-hearted souls to root, gather and rise

We are a community of justice-hearted souls who care deeply, for the Earth, for each other, and for a liberated world.

We honour our interconnection with all life: land and lineage, breath and body, ancestors and animals, soil and stars. We gather to remember our sacred responsibility and our collective power to create the world we long for.

We host free online gatherings every two weeks, with an intention to lighten the weight of the world with practices that strengthen our bodymind, deepen our connections, and awaken our personal and collective power. Our spaces follow a living rhythm:

🌱 Root: Create space within your bodymind to release tension, process emotion, and return to your centre through embodied, creative, and restorative practices.
🌀 Gather: Come together in community to witness and be witnessed, share truth, and remember that our struggles and hopes are carried more lightly when held collectively.
🔥 Rise: Anchor into your inner and collective power, reclaim your agency, and practice the liberatory ways of being that move us toward a freer world.

_ You might call yourself a social activist, environmentalist, advocate, artist, change-maker, Earth-warrior, ally or you might not. No matter how you define or show your care for the world, this space is for you, because you need collective care too. _

**RISE: Rising Through Uncertainty **

A creative and somatic practice for finding steadiness in uncertain times

In these times we are faced with radical uncertainty. This affects ourselves, our families, our communities, and the wider world. The unknown permeates so many domains. The world is changing rapidly and we don’t know what tomorrow will bring. There is power in learning how to stand steady inside the storm of what we cannot control.

In this session we will make space for how difficult and overwhelming uncertainty can be. We will use creative practice to turn toward the felt sense of uncertainty and meet it with kindness and curiosity. Are moments of surrender to uncertainty possible, or even necessary, as part of the creative process? And how can this help us sit with it in other areas of life?

We will use drawing meditation, somatic creative enquiry, and group sharing to anchor through art and the body, connecting with the places where we do feel a knowing within. We will share our process with a wise and supportive community, remembering that when we gather, uncertainty does not weaken us, it deepens our collective steadiness.

How we’ll flow together:

  • Opening prayer, breath, grounding
  • Drawing meditation and somatic enquiry
  • Group sharing to anchor collective wisdom
  • Closing prayer

This is for you if:

  • You feel destabilised by how quickly the world is changing.
  • You are tired of trying to “figure it out” and want to feel into it instead.
  • You want to meet uncertainty without bypassing it.
  • You long to feel steadier, without pretending everything is fine.
  • You believe collective enquiry strengthens individual resilience.

What You’ll Need:

  • A quiet, comfortable space where you can sit and move undisturbed for 90 minutes
  • Art materials of your choice (paper, pens, paints, pastels etc)
  • Invite your full, feeling, messy, raw, unfiltered, caring, soft and fiery self to be present
  • (Optional) Bring a candle, if you’d like to set the energy

In this space, we ask that you commit to:

  • Showing up exactly as you are. Your humanity with its grief, sorrow, rage, inspiration, joy, hope and everything in between is welcome.
  • Being respectful and reflective about opinions, perspectives and lived experiences that are different to yours.
