Dance Our Dreams In: Love and Truth

A few days after the highs, lows and flats of Valentine’s day, we will gather to explore and celebrate Love and Truth in community , supported by the sacred medicine of Cacao, somatic movement, a dance journey and a circle of creative offerings.

As you arrive you will be warmly welcomed , offered a cleansing spray of essential oil and Celtic sea salt mist, then invited to move and get comfortable in the space. If you wish you could place something on the all-faith altar, to power it up during our ceremony and journey together.

Our evening will start in circle, with breath, sound, gentle movement, and brief check-ins. I will then share delicious ceremonial Cacao , infused with spices and loads of love, prayer and song to support our dream-weaving, honouring my Mayan heritage from Belize. We will drink as we call in the directions and elements, and come into connection with the Spirit of Cacao, a sacred plant medicine that supports us to open our hearts and connect to the wisdom of our bodies and souls. At this moment we will tune in and set our intentions - what we call into our lives and into the world through our movement, dance and stillness.

We will then be treated to a beautiful somatic movement session guided by Karin Paish, to land us deeply and comfortably into our bodies. Karin is a Success Coach, Shamanic Healer and Somatic Facilitator. She has a deep understanding of the non-duality metaphysics and delights in guiding people in self-attunement to deepen presence, wellbeing, abundance and connection.

We will then be treated to a dance journey by Sky Williams, to let us shake off anything that still needs to compost in these wintering times, and dance towards all that we wish to call into our lives, as the light returns and spring emerges in the first shoots of flowers, sprouting joyfully from the ground. Sky has a love for the world and its wonderful cultures and sounds. “I want to take you on a magical journey through different musical genres and styles, instrumental, world, and dance, so we can explore our inner souls through our movement with ourselves and with each other. I seek to embrace and explore all chambers of the heart through sound and movement, as they are all a pathway to joy!”

In this space everything is an invitation, and you're invited to move freely with your intention , however you are called to – dancing wildly, moving gently, or resting in stillness as you explore your dream as it unfolds, feeling in your body how it is to already have realised your next steps.

This is a co-creative space for dream-weaving , celebrating who we are now and actively creating the lives we envision. Can we make the journey easy and fun? Do we need to dance through the dark to find the light at the other side? Will we be riding the rapids or floating serenely on an exquisitely still lake? We dance together knowing that all emotions are welcome, and that, while we are responsible for ourselves, dancer supporters will be available in the space.

We will have a comfy, cosy corner filled with blankets and cushions, where you can go to rest and snuggle if you wish. Feel free to bring cosy things to add!

At January’s dance, we had a beautiful sharing circle in which people offered songs and blessings, and it was so exquisite that we’ll do that again. I invite you to bring something to share if you wish - with no obligation - and enjoy a heartful circle of creativity, celebrating love and truth 🤲

Dress code : Wear whatever brings you joy – authentic expression is very welcome.

What to bring : A water bottle, something comfortable to sit on during the circle, and - if you can - to add to the cosy corner.

Arrivals: Please arrive from 6.45 - 7pm. This is a ceremonial space so if you arrive later you will need to slip in quietly, and you may not be able to get in after 7.10pm.

Every month on the third Friday, we gather in community for connection, transformation and celebration. These Cacao dances are ceremonial spaces where movement becomes manifestation and dreams take shape through dance. Where you are free to be and move or rest however you feel to – to follow your heart's desire and let your body express what your soul yearns to create in this world.
