The summer solstice was to the ancient spiritual people of these lands, one of the most revered spiritual moments of the year. The Ancient ones would journey to Avalon to experience the power that this turning point in Earth's cycle offered. It is a time off prosperity, fruitfulness and the moment when the sun slowly descends back into the darker half of the year . Those connected to the ancient cycles and land mysteries knew that at this time, these energies could be harvested and integrated into their lives.

Expect a deeply nourishing and transformative weekend where we will work with these themes, guided by ancient elemental Pagan ceremony, indigenous plant medicines such as Dandelion and Marigold, breath work, somatic practices for resetting the nervous system, heart cohesion work, sacred site immersion and pilgrimage, song and vocal/creative expression, dream work and the tending and attuning to the deeper parts of ourselves that are seeking deeper balance, nurture and love.

Avalon (or in this dimension, Glastonbury) is a place to be experienced to be truly understood. The myths and legends are woven into the fabric of the land, from the Holy Grail to the Great Goddess, the gateway to the galactics and the faery kingdom of Awnwnn.

Accommodation

We will be staying on the mystical wearyall hill in a beautiful house overlooking the Somerset Levels. The house has 3 twin bedrooms and a beautiful living area where we will eat together. Our practices will be held at the gorgeous Miracles room in Glastonbury Courtyard (the real Diagon Alley!)

Your Facilitators

Laura Reeves

Laura has facilitated with Psychedelic Society since 2017. After a decade of working with shamanic plant medicine, she offers transformational spaces designed to explore the darker parts of our psyche in order to experience deeper love, expansion and liberation. Currently she is studying to be a doctor of the Amazonian Master Plants and lives part time in the Amazon Rainforest with an indigenous maestro.

Over a decade ago, she travelled the Americas working in NGOs focusing on ecological sustainability before discovering the ancient keys to the psyche found in the plants of the rainforest. Experiencing a deeper sense of reality inspired the creation of transformative arts company Infinite Experience, who travelled the world with their interactive theatre piece designed to transcend separateness. She now holds workshops, ceremonies, retreats and 1-1 sessions designed to connect people to their deeper essence guided by her experience and years of training in healing modalities.
