Hearth & Hand: A monthly fireside handcraft circle @ Plot 9

Join us for a cosy session of crafting around the fire at the magical location of Plot 9 Maze Hill. A little oasis of community and calm in South East London.

Whether it's knitting, crochet, weaving or any other fibre craft you're into, bring a project you are working on, or just come along, get inspired and try something new! Materials and instruction can be provided for knitting, crochet and weaving from knitting enthusiast Eliza and other crafters in the circle.

Knitting and other hand crafts bring us together in a relaxed, welcoming space around the nourishing atmosphere of the fire. Crafting side by side encourages conversation, connection, and a sense of belonging and working with our hands is calming and grounding. A gentle break from everyday stress while creating something meaningful.

Everyone is welcome — no experience needed. Come along, connect, and create together.

We would like to offer a few places for free to those who can’t afford the minimum amount, if this is you please email us to join for free. This ensures our cicle is available to everyone.

Plot 9 has kitchen facilities and a compost loo. There is room to store bikes and pushchairs inside. Plot 9 is sadly not accessilble to wheelchairs users due to the drop from the road and split levels.
