A Divine Ridiculous Weekend Lab

Under late September's Harvest Full Moon we'll be seeking surrender as craft and not collapse. Playing a prank on gravity to bargain with our bodies deepest knowing, we'll be tapping into the inner oracle, dancing with desire and discernment, cultivating trust, and meeting the mercurial figure of Trickster.

The stones and streams of Dartmoor will be our most enigmatic and insightful teachers.

THE HANGED MOON is a three-day Divine Ridiculous laboratory under the Tarot Card XII - playful, devotional, and gloriously upside-down.. Taking moment to pause, receive and be held, we will search for the space where rope becomes ritual and Masquerade becomes permission. As always, the Clown will be the guide who dares us to risk and who tickles us with their fragile humanity, deep listening presence, and topsy turvy talent for turning failure to triumph.

For the briefest of times we will research...

• CLOWN, MASK, AND EMBODIED MYTH
• PUPPET AND PUPPETEER IN A SYMBIOSIS OF SURRENDER AND CARE
• ROPE, KINK, AND BONDAGE AS LISTENING PRACTICES
• EROS AS SPARK IN A NON-SEXUAL SPACE
• CONTACT DANCE, BUTOH-INFLECTED STATES, IMPROVISATION
• SOMATICS OF WAITING, YIELDING, INVERSION
• RITUAL ACTIONS AND ORACLES FOR STUCK DESIRES

The Hanged Man asks:
What happens when you stop trying to arrive?
What if the pause is the initiation?

We will court reversal.
We will practice saying yes, no, slower, stop, again.
We will let clown logic scramble hierarchy and expectation.
We will mask, unmask, and hover between roles in a held, opt-in space.
No performance required. No aesthetic demand.

You may leave with:
• A deeper somatic trust in not-knowing
• Tools for ritual, performance, intimacy, and art
• A nervous system that can hang out in suspension
• A story loosened, softened, rerouted

The event will take place in our Dome, and out in the land in Dartmoor.

Sliding Scale £150-£300 including food
This is a camping event. Tents and Live-Ins welcome.
Limited accommodations available by request at extra cost

ie. tent with bed £20/night, caravan £30/night, accommodation in the house £40/night
