THE ELEPHANT II

There's an old story about a group of people touching different parts of an elephant in the dark. Each one is certain they know what it is. The one holding the trunk is sure it's a snake. The one at the leg knows it's a tree. They argue. They're all right. They're all wrong. Nobody thinks to ask each other.

Sound familiar?

The Elephant is a monthly experimental salon for the conversations we're not having. The things we all see but don't name. The questions that are too big, too awkward, or too obvious to bring up at dinner.

Not a lecture. Not a panel. We're not looking for answers. We're looking for honesty. To discover we're all holding different parts of the same elephant.

This time we're expanding — 25 people, with a flow between big group and small group. More perspectives. More parts of the elephant.

Come curious. Come willing to be surprised.

ABOUT THE ELEPHANT

An experimental monthly salon series hosted by Dara Morgana at Emerge Lakefront. Different people, different perspectives, same elephant. Part aperitivo, part inquiry, part experience. A room where real things can happen.

ABOUT YOUR HOST

Dara Morgana is an artist-facilitator, performance artist, and TEDx speaker newly based in Stockholm. Her work explores creative resilience: how we transform what's stuck into what's possible. Currently Artist in Residence at Emerge Lakefront, she designs experiences that help groups think together, get real, and find what emerges. Born in Buenos Aires, shaped by the world. She bridges worlds that don't naturally connect.
