About

Body, land, and world are inseparable. This workshop invites us to become porous, to attend to space-time, and to let our dances arise from the meeting of our bodies and the places we inhabit.

We explore presence and movement by giving ourselves back to wonder, to not-knowing, and to the relational field that holds us. What happens when we suspend doing and allow our attention to open our presence to the subtle textures of land, bodies, and memory?

Through a crossing of practices such as Butoh, somatics, and improvisation, we engage the liminal possibilities of performance, working with extended scores that invite deeper inquiry into our relations with the environment.

28 February — Dartmoor

10:00–16:00 — Dance Improvisation Lab
A deep-dive laboratory rooted in Butoh and somatic improvisation. We will work with attention, presence, and the body’s imaginal landscape.

Contribution: £20–£30 per day (sliding scale)
