About

_ A live conversation, and interactive Q&A with Peter Munthe-Kaas and James Brown. James and Peter will talk about the Relating Arts project and how it can support the growing communities of practice connected to Circling, Radical Honesty, Relatefulness, Zen Coaching and many other relating practices. _

We ended up on this format as James contacted Peter to have a call about the Relating Arts project and because Peter has been wanting to have monthly calls connected to the project for a while. This seemed to be a good combination of the two.

This is what james wrote:

I think your aim for your website aligns closely with what I was wanting in the space for a long time. I've seen the post you put out recently about your website development aspirations and intentions, and now I see the videos on your youtube channel (circling overview etc).

There are things I'm curious to chat about and see what comes up between us (points below). I’d ask you about your goals and what you are trying to do with the site, and we could tie that into a more broad discussion of our thoughts/hopes/opinions?

Some notes on topics I'm interested to explore/ want to remember, that are alive now (might change when we speak):

  • Having a non-partisan/non-biased/neutral resource sharing about circling/AR/etc
  • A source that describes the overlap between all practices in this lineage, the history and the separating, evolving niches and schools (a.r. / circling etc relateful / TC / CI etc.)
  • Building community and connection between practitioners of these schools and disciplines
  • Community led practice spaces growing, through peer-to-peer networks, paid and free, online and in-person
  • Connecting those curious about conscious community living and social hubs
  • A joint name/descriptor for them all?
  • Establishing the merit and benefits of these practices, in a way that adds credence for those of suspicious/skeptical minds

Practical Info

The call will be 1½ hours and a mix of a conversation between Peter and James and an interactive q&a.
