About

Our Dance of the Senses 5 - 8pm is now sold out as the venue is quite small and we want to ensure everyone attending has enough space to dance and move freely. We are so grateful for the interest this event has received and will be running our next events in our One Church Residency on Saturday March 14th, April 18th and May 23rd💃

Anyone is welcome to attend the Pal-entines House Party 8 - 11pm as the venue capacity is large enough to host more people! No ticket needed, entry by a small donation or for free ☺️

Join us from 8 for vegan lasagne (till we run out), incredible cakes, an Old Tree Kombucha fundraiser for a family in Palestine, games tables, conversation, connection and much more dancing 🥳

About Lydia:

Lydia’s roots are in contemporary dance and physical theatre and has been guiding movement spaces for over two decades. As both an embodiment facilitator and a devotional musician, her calling lies in weaving movement, sound, spirit, and sacred embodiment into practices that support connection, self-trust, and the wider collective unfolding.

Apart from teaching contact improvisation, she is also a certified Kundalini Yoga teacher, and a Shakti Dance® facilitator.

Contact Improvisation Journey with Lydia

Lydia will gently guide us into a shared movement journey through deep listening - to ourselves, to the space, and to one another. Beginning with attunement to our own bodies, we’ll awaken our innate impulse to move, allowing connection to arise organically. From this place, we’re invited to explore contact in a way that honours choice, consent, and spaciousness. Connection may take the form of touch, shared weight (a leaning, a resting, a shared pause), mirroring, or simply presence with another. Safety and self-trust are central, allowing communion to unfold naturally.

“When we become fully present to the co-creation unfolding between us, something quietly magical can occur. The need to control softens, listening deepens, and for a moment we move as one - one body, one impulse, one shared field of awareness”.
