About
**A monthly shared walk in nature for anyone experiencing grief or loss, whether recent or long ago. **
Join us for a morning of companionship, connection and walking.
**Come exactly as you are. Walk together. **
These monthly walks rotate between three beautiful nature spots around Stroud: Standish Wood/Haresfield Beacon, canal towpath/river Frome, and Rodborough Common.
For February's walk, we'll stroll together by the water on the canal towpath and river Frome. You're welcome just as you are that day.
The walk will take us about 60 minutes, finishing where we started for chats and a hot drink. Exact meeting place will be shared after booking.
There will be space to walk in conversation, quietly or between the two - whichever feels best for you.
There will also be optional prompts to connect with yourself and nature as a source of support in grief.
Grief can arise from many kinds of loss, such as a death, miscarriage, ending of a relationship, loss of health, life transition, ecological grief, or not receiving what you deserve or long for. Whatever you're experiencing, you're welcome to join us.
Led by Veronica, Grief & Loss Practitioner (www.veronicafrances.co.uk).
Practical details:
Your first walk is free (please select free ticket).
Subsequently, each walk costs £10 standard / £5 concession (for unwaged participants). Contributions go towards planning, facilitation and sustaining these grief walks.
If cost is a barrier, please get in touch.
