atproto.la October 2026

Join us at Crash Space where we collectively reimagine what the social internet can look like when built on top of open protocols like AT Protocol and ActivityPub. We welcome folks from all kinds of backgrounds including artists, journalists, creators, academic researchers, end-users, and developers.

When

Late morning of Sunday, October 11th, 2026

• Doors open at 11am

Activities

• Presentations & discussions

  • @chaosgreml.in will host a conversation around people's experiences of the discourse quality on Bluesky (and atproto), tools that exist to manage that, and gaps or challenges that still exist.
  • If you have something you would like to present (~7 minutes) or a discussion that you'd like to have, please DM @atproto.la and we'll get you on the schedule!

• Zine workshop

  • We'll be making zines about the open social internet! Topics could be about how we feel about the current web, what futures we imagine, explaining how the open social internet works, why it's important, etc.
