Saturday the 21st of March 2.pm to see if there is continuing nest making or if they've laid eggs and are sitting on the nests or if they're feeding young. We wil also monitor the comfrey patch to identify the many different bumble bees that feed there.
Then on Saturday the 4th of April. 2.pm Hopefully by now we should be witnessing the birds flying in and out of the nest boxes to feed young chicks. We can count how many times they feed their young in 10 minutes and work out how many times of day they visit.
