About

Journey into the Rainforest through Gong and Song

Join us for an immersive sound journey

As the gongs begin to resonate and the bowls start to sing, the space shifts. The layered tones can feel almost elemental, like distant rainforest calls, low rolling thunder, and wind moving through trees. Subtle tribal-style vocals and textured rhythms weave through the experience, creating a sense of depth and atmosphere alongside the more traditional instruments.

WHAT TO EXPECT

A sound journey works by using vibration and frequency to encourage the brain and body to shift out of stress mode and into deep relaxation. Many people describe it as dreamlike, a space between waking and sleeping where creativity, emotion and insight can surface naturally.

You’ll be invited to lie back, get comfortable, and simply receive. No effort required. Just sound, sensation and stillness.

People often leave feeling calmer, clearer and more connected, both grounded and subtly expanded.

Step away from the rush. Settle into the atmosphere. Let the sound carry you.

Your Facilitators

Jaqueline Vehlo

Jaqueline Velho trained as a Gong Practitioner with Sheila Whittaker five years ago and further expanded her sound healing practice through training in Singing Bowls with Kat Bumbul (Psychedelic Sound Baths in Hackney). For the past four years, she has been holding immersive Sound Baths, offering transformative experiences through the power of sound and vibration.

Her sessions create a safe, nurturing space where participants can deeply relax, release tension, and reconnect with themselves. Through the resonant vibrations of the gong and the subtle harmonics of singing bowls, Jackie supports meditation, emotional balance, and overall well-being.

She now shares this work with her elder son, Leo, a musician who sings and plays acoustic guitar.

Leo Velho

When Leo sings, it feels like ancestral echoes carried on breath. His voice moves like a melody without words, born before language, as if he is remembering something ancient rather than creating it. The sounds rise naturally from him, unshaped by thought, untouched by learned speech. It is raw and pure, like a small body holding an old soul. In his wordless song, there is something timeless, a gentle reminder that music existed long before we named it.

Testimonials

"Firstly I would like to take the opportunity to thank Jackie for this great sound healing session. I experienced a mixture of feelings, from happiness to anxiety, from fears to power, etc... Overall the whole session was great and I think Jackie put lots of effort and passion in everything she is doing. Thank you once again " - Mari

"I felt a lot of positive emotions that allowed my body to rest, my thoughts were light, I felt cold but it calmed me down. I experienced vibrations in my body that I never felt before. I enjoyed the session very much" - Izabella

"I so enjoyed last night and did sleep really well. It was my first experience of a sound bath/journey and it was magical. Really powerful and intense experience at the start and then so relaxing by the end. Your son's guitar playing and singing was beautiful and really added to the whole experience." - Louise
