Musical Word Play

Musical Word Play will be an evening of live music, jam, poetry open mic and playful word games open to all, to celebrate the end of Winter.

We warmly welcome you to come and join us for this special collaboration event to bring in spring. Joining together in solidarity with hosts: **Firebrand Poets** , **Music4unity** and the **London School of SolarPunk** . This collaboration theme is Play, with inspiration from the SolarPunk's monthly theme of Games!

We will have sliding scale entry also on the door as well as tickets you can purchase here!

Please bring your poems, songs, instruments, hearts, prayers and love for this wonderful spring special.

The theme of this event is Musical Word Play, touching on the intersection between music and poetry, representing the grassroots community groups Music4Unity and Firebrand Poets, who will be jointly hosting this heartwarming exploration. They will collaborate with the London School of SolarPunk, a free art school imagining new ways of living in the city.

SolarPunk Social, hosted by the School, is on every Wednesday at the Post Bar. Our event matches their March theme on Games. Everyone is welcome to "Bring your Thing", be that an idea, a workshop, a craft, or just your passion for creating a strong and well informed resilient community.

This event is a open and accessible space for all, based on donations to support the time, energy and resources that it takes to make it all happen, and continue the work created by these grassroots communities. Please give generously where you can - noone will be turned away at the door!

The venue is wheelchair accessible and children are welcome earlier on.
