Equinox - Cacao & Rose tea Ceremony - Vocal empowerment workshop - celebration

🌹Join us this Spring Equinox for a super special New Year celebration at The Whitworth in Darley Dale🌹

🔵 Are you craving something new in your life? Maybe feeling disconnected from community? Even from yourself?
Ceremony opens up a door for us to feel connection to ourselves, to community and to something bigger…. This ceremony has no particular religious direction but is deeply rooted in exploring our shared human experience, when in ceremony you can receive answers to your questions or gain insights to your path in life, when connecting to our hearts, to community, to spirit we can feel wholeness again, a sense of belonging

🔴 We will come together and set intentions for the New Year ahead, the spring equinox is our traditional New Year in the Celtic year of 8, it is the time when life begins to flourish, the sap is rising and the promise of a new, bountiful year begins.

🔴 We will begin with a Cacao / Rose tea ceremony

🔵 Cacao is a heart opening medicine from the Americas, well known for giving you a natural and sustained energy boost, she is a sacred medicine that helps us to connect to our hearts.

🔴 Rose tea is more gentle, she is a traditional medicine of these lands, rose also works with igniting the heart energy to feel more from a place of love and kindness.

🔵 This ceremonial container is an opportunity to connect to the medicines of Cacao & Rose in an interactive way - both are medicines of the heart and help us to connect with our hearts in a good way, we are going through big changes as individuals and globally - let us come together to support one another in love

🔴 Comfortable chairs will be provided for the duration, we will be seated in a circle with a central altar of flowers and nature based offerings to focus our intentions towards

🔵 Vocal empowerment workshop: An opportunity to play with your voice in a group without any pressure to sound “good” explore fun, playful and exciting practices that help us chip away at old stories or traumas around sharing our voice, every voice is unique & beautiful in its own way 🙏🏽 it is not a singing workshop - no experience required 🙏🏽

🔵 The vocal workshop will last around an hour - The ceremony will be accompanied by Live medicine music, to help us deepen our shared experience and honour this beautiful life, during this offering there will be a chance to share your voice or instrument in the flow

🔴 You can take a break at anytime during the event, no pressure to be or do anything that isn‘t 100% confortable

🔵 We will finish with a sharing circle and closing of the ceremonial space

🔴 Please bring with you:

A water bottle to keep hydrated

A blanket to keep cozy

A snack or something to keep you sustained - this is a 4 hour event

A journal if you like to make notes

An instrument if you like

Photography is not encouraged however with permission I may take some footage for future events.

🔵 As this is a 4 hour event we will have spaciousness to move around as you need to, there will be plenty of time to socialise and make new connections and friends :)

🔴 I feel to note: From the feedback I received last time: This event has 25 tickets for sale, this will be a more fluid and active container so larger numbers will create a more powerful prayer as it is a special occasion - to celebrate our traditional new year!

The Cacao will be served a little differently from last time, ensuring it is well received, hot and a full ceremonial dose. FYI: I will produce smaller, more intimate Sound Healing events, Cacao ceremonies and other healing containers, in other local venues throughout the year
