You’ve been searching, haven’t you?
For something that cuts through the mundane. A space where connection feels real again.
This Spring Equinox, MadStillNess invites you to step Through the Looking Glass for a full day and evening celebration inside the breathtaking gothic church space of The Mount Without in Bristol.
Beginning with a soft daytime gathering of yoga, voice workshops, botanical drinks and cacao , the experience gradually unfolds into an immersive evening of live music, theatre, ecstatic dance and ceremonial sound.
A playful, art-led environment designed for community, creativity and embodied connection.
Alcohol-free. Inclusive. Curious.
A place where everyone has a seat at the table.
11:30 – 14:30
The daytime celebration offers a gentle entry into the world of Through the Looking Glass.
Expect a relaxed community atmosphere filled with conversation, creativity and sensory ritual as we welcome the return of spring.
Throughout the afternoon, guests can move between holistic wellbeing sessions, creative workshops and restorative spaces , connecting with others in an intentionally welcoming environment.
Hosted by Phoëbe Hares and Camilla Mason (Eco Therapies)
The daytime programme includes embodied practices designed to open the body and voice as we move into the new season.
These sessions blend breathwork, gentle yoga, vocal expression and grounding exercises , creating a shared space for presence, play and connection.
Perfect for both beginners and experienced practitioners, the workshops invite participants to reconnect with breath, body and creative voice.
Sponsored by Sentia
The Arc Community Café bar serves a menu of alcohol-free botanical drinks in collaboration with Sentia , pioneers in plant-based spirits designed to elevate mood without alcohol.
Featured elixirs include:
Midnight Express
Dark cacao and rich coffee notes for a deep, decadent lift.
Rose Maca Tonic
Floral and fruity with a gentle, glowing energy.
Sentia blends botanical extracts traditionally used to support sociability and relaxation, offering a clear-headed alternative to alcohol that perfectly complements the day’s mindful atmosphere.
Alongside the café, our Cacao Bar serves ceremonial-grade cacao used for centuries in indigenous traditions to support connection, warmth and emotional openness.
Rich in theobromine and magnesium, cacao can help:
• Elevate mood naturally
• Encourage connection and conversation
• Support focused, present energy
At the Spring Equinox, cacao becomes a ritual pause. A moment to soften, open and welcome the light returning to the year.
As the afternoon drifts into the evening, the atmosphere begins to shift.
Lights dim. The music deepens.
The gathering transforms from café conversation into a surreal cabaret dreamscape.
Welcome to the night.
