Brushstrokes & Voices: A Unity Retreat Day
Saturday 21st March 2026 | 10am – 4.30pm
Barnack Village Hall, Stamford, UK
£79 (financial accessibility options available – please see below)

This retreat is open to all adults, regardless of background, experience, identity or ability.

Brushstrokes & Voices is a full‑day creative retreat designed to help you gently reawaken into the rising energy of spring.

We begin with a grounding vocal release session led by Claudia, Co‑founder of Unity Retreats. This guided practice supports the release of physical, emotional and creative blockages, opening the body’s expressive channels so creativity can flow with greater ease throughout the day. Guests often describe this part of the retreat as deeply supportive and unexpectedly freeing, sharing reflections such as: “I am not a singer but Claudia created a supportive, safe and fun environment that enabled me to relax into the full experience” and “the moment I walked through the door, I felt held.”

With the voice open and the body settled, we move into a calming painting workshop led by Clare, Co‑founder of Unity Retreats. Clare will guide you step‑by‑step through accessible painting techniques that will help you create your own spring‑themed artwork to take home. These techniques are simple, joyful and designed to be carried into daily life so your creative confidence can continue to grow long after the retreat. Guests often tell us that “the entire day felt like a warm hug” and that the space feels “very healing and supportive.”

Throughout the day, we pause regularly for teas, coffees and nourishing snacks provided by Unity Retreats. At lunchtime, we gather for a communal meal where everyone brings a dish to share, creating a warm sense of community. Many guests arrive alone and immediately feel welcomed, reflected in feedback like: “I came along on my own and immediately felt part of the group.”

As the day draws to a close, each guest receives thoughtful keepsakes to help ease them into the gentle, rising energy of spring. Many leave with a renewed sense of connection and gratitude, echoing sentiments such as: “Thank you from the bottom of my heart for allowing me space to deeply connect back to myself, to ground & to rest.”
