A little bit about us…….
Pauline Stiles: Certified Compassionate Inquiry Practitioner & Body Therapist
With nearly 25 years of experience as a bodyworker, Pauline has a deep knowing that our bodies hold the unprocessed emotions of our past. Her own journey with trauma began in 2017 when she discovered that 10 years of chronic pain was rooted in CPTSD; today, that pain is rarely part of her life. Having learned to lovingly welcome and inquire into grief, terror, and shame, she now specialises in helping others metabolise emotional and physical pain.
Pauline brings this lived wisdom to her current life, standing firmly in her "no" with an alcoholic ex-partner. By becoming comfortable with her own healthy anger and sticking firm in her boundaries, she models the transformation she offers her clients. She is a dedicated witness for women who have been silenced, guiding them back to the wisdom of their bodies and the safety of their own hearts.
Ruth Veda: Certified Compassionate Inquiry Practitioner, Body Worker & Former Paramedic
Ruth’s path into this work is deeply personal. After years of people-pleasing to ensure she was liked and avoided "being mean" to anyone, she learned the hard lesson that the body keeps the score when chronic hip pain became her daily reality. Through Compassionate Inquiry, movement, and play, Ruth has learned to make conscious choices, discovering that saying "no" when she means it makes her "yes" truly powerful. Even when old patterns of putting others first arise, she now meets herself with compassion and understanding rather than judgment. Ruth is dedicated to supporting others in finding their voice so they can break free from cycles of physical pain and resentment.
_"We would love for you to join us in this space. Through our own journeys with pain and recovery, we are committed to supporting you in finding your voice and learning to stand in your "No". We don't view people pleasing as a flaw to be fixed, but as a clever childhood survival strategy that deserves our compassion; we help you uncover the "Why" before guiding you to the "How," and help you feel that shift in the wisdom of your body." _
